Build better and live better in a JG King home at one of the many Victorian locations supported by the 2018 Victorian state budget.

It’s been a big week for the government and Australian tax payers this week, with the announcement of the federal budget for 2018. Also discussed, has been the Victorian State Budget, bringing great news for home builders and land buyers across Victoria, and in particular, JG King customers. Cleared traffic congestion, better schools, improved medical services, easier transport and access to the CBD and the airport, will only add to the many benefits of building a new JG King home.

Cranbourne East has been named the fastest growing suburb in Victoria and $572 million will be invested in infrastructure and upgrades to rail lines to support the rapid growth in the area. This is great news for buyers in the Arcadia Estate in neighbouring Officer or Marriott Waters in Lyndhurst. On the other side of town? Commutes to Romsey will also be easier with the $572 million being shared across the area, including Sunbury.

The North-link development is also on top line agenda, with a $110 million allocated towards its quick development, and a further $2.2 billion for north (and south-eastern) arterial road upgrades. A great result for buyers in the Aurora Estate in Wollert. Safety around school zones in the north and south east will also be improved with a further $23.9 million spend.

And the good news continues. Growing families in our Horsham, Ballarat and Bendigo locations can expect significant school upgrades after the announcement of $180 million allocated for schools and early learning centres in Regional Victoria.

In the west? A faster rail line to the airport from Geelong is being considered and we will also see improvements at Sunshine hospital, following $29.6 million allocated towards an emergency department upgrade. JG King have many house and land packages available in Geelong within the Armstrong, Gen Fyansford, Lara Central and Warralily Coast Estates.

Overall, improved infrastructure, better arterial roads, upgraded rail lines, and more education facilities can only benefit anyone building with JG King Homes. Choose where your new home will be by visiting one of our many displays across Victoria.
