    The frame of your home is comprised of TRUECORE® steel G550 with Activate® technology. This is a hot-dipped aluminium/zinc/magnesium alloy-coated structural steel with a guaranteed minimum yield strength of 550MPa, manufactured using a blue-tinted resin.
  2. Tested in Australian Conditions

    Homes built in Australia face challenging weather conditions. Having to deal with the extremes of heat and cold, to dust, rain, wind and hail. Both materials (Truecore® frame and Colorbond® Roof) have been extensively tried and tested in Australian conditions.
    Truecore ® Steel frames have a huge influence on the structural integrity of the home itself. The house frame is more than just another stage in the building process. Also, it is not necessarily a standard inclusion (make sure you ask your builder what material your frame is made of):
    • Frames made with TRUECORE® steel won’t shrink, twist or warp over time so there's less chance of jamming doors, sticking windows or wavy rooflines.

  5. Fire Performance

    As outlined above, TRUECORE ® Steel won’t ignite or contribute to the spread of house fire. Also, a home with steel roofing, walling, gutters and downpipes help deliver a compliant system in bushfire prone areas, including in the most extreme, BAL-FZ (Bushfire Attack Level – Flame Zone) as defined in AS 3959:2018.
