Behind the Master Plan with Natasha Ashoor

We are interviewing Natasha Ashoor today, our New Home Advisor based from our Botanical Estate Display Home. 
 

How long have you worked at JG King Homes for:

I started in May 2025. I am still at a very early stages here in JG King Homes, but I am very excited to get to help bring people's dream JG King Home to life.

What does a typical day at work look like:

A typical day starts with checking the leads and contacting clients to book their meetings. I get prepared for meetings and throughout the day I meet with clients, walk them through the various floorplans we have and help find the best home design based on their requirements. I also follow up on enquiries, update CRM and liaise with the team to make deals happen.

What led you to working in this role:

I have always been passionate about helping people make big life decisions, and building a new home is one of the most important life decisions a person can make. I believe what led me into the home building industry was the opportunity to combine my strength in Sales, Creativity and Variety that the industry offers (as no two clients are the same), and relationship building with a genuine desire to guide clients through a life-changing experience. It is not just about selling homes - it is about creating trust, offering solutions, and being part of something meaningful.

What's your favourite part of seeing a home come together:

My favourite part is seeing all the hard work the team has made to bringing a dream come to reality. It reminds me that we are not just building a house, we are creating places where people will build their lives, raise families and make lifelong memories.

Greatest achievement in your career:

My greatest achievement has been helping a first home buyer who thought building their dream house was out of reach. I worked wit them to find the best home design for them and make the amendments based on their wish and after all seeing them receive the key was incredibly rewarding. Knowing that I played a role in making that dream a reality reminds me why I love what I do.

If you could trade jobs with anyone for a day, who would it be:

I would trade jobs with interior designer for a day, I'd love to see how they bring the colour schemes, textures, and layouts together to complete a vision of a home.

What does home mean to you:

To me home means security, comfort and belongings. It's a place where people can truly be themselves and creating lasting memories with their loved ones. 

Describe your dream forever home:

My dream forever home would be surrounded by nature. A cosy living area with a fireplace and a built-in bookshelf - perfect for relaxing with a good book. Also, spacious kitchen for entertaining with a cellar. Most importantly, it would be a place that feels calm, welcoming and filled with the poeple I care about.
