JG King Homes Diwali Competition

Promoter

1. The Promoter is JG King Homes (ABN 21 006 627 210) of Level 2, 191 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne Victoria (the Promoter, JG King Homes, we or us).

2. Information on how to enter and the prizes forms part of these Terms and Conditions. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Eligibility

3. Entry is open only to residents of Victoria, Australia who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry and who attend one of the following events at which JG King Homes is present (each an Event, together the Events):

   1. Wyndham Diwali at Presidents Park, Wyndham (Werribee) Victoria; on Saturday 7th November 2026.

   2. Hume Diwali Mela at ANZAC Park, Craigieburn, Victoria; on Saturday 31^st October 2026 and

   3. Northern Diwali at City of Whittlesea Civic Centre Lawns, South Morang, Victoria on Saturday 31^st October 2026.

       

4. The following people are not eligible to enter:

   1. employees, officers, contractors and agents of the Promoter and its related bodies corporate;

   2. the immediate family members (spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling, whether by blood, marriage or adoption) and household members of any person listed in 4(a);

   3. close personal friends of any person listed in clause 4(a); and

   4. employees and contractors of any agency or supplier directly associated with the conduct of this promotion.

       

5. The Promoter may request proof of age, identity and Victorian residency at any time. If an entrant is unable to provide satisfactory proof, their entry may be deemed invalid.

Promotional period

6. The promotion commences at 

   1. 12:00pm AEDT on Saturday 31st October 2026 and closes at 8:00pm AEDT on Saturday 31 October 2026 (the Promotional Period) for Hume Diwali Mela and Northern Diwali, and

   2. 12:00pm AEDT on Saturday 7th November 2026 and closes 8:00pm AEDT on Saturday 7th November 2026 (the Promotional Period) for Wyndham Diwali.

Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.

How to enter

7. To enter, eligible entrants must, during the Promotional Period and while attending an Event, complete the online entry form by scanning the QR code displayed at the JG King Homes stand, and submit their full name, email address, mobile phone number, residential postcode and any other details requested.

8. Each entry will be recorded against the Event at which it is submitted and will only be eligible for the Prize for that Event.

9. As a condition of entry, entrants must consent to JG King Homes contacting them by email, phone and SMS about JG King Homes products, services, events and promotions (see clauses 26 to 29).

10. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person across all Events. If a person enters at more than one Event, or enters more than once, only their first valid entry will be accepted, and any further entries will be deemed invalid. Entries using the same email address or mobile phone number will be treated as entries from the same person.

11. Entries must be submitted personally by the entrant. Entries submitted on behalf of another person, or made using automated or bulk means, are invalid.

12. Incomplete, illegible, inaccurate or fraudulent entries will be deemed invalid. The time of entry will be deemed to be the time the entry is received in the Promoter’s database.

13. The Promoter is not responsible for any entry that is lost, delayed or not received due to technical failure, network outage or any other cause, including any failure of the tablet, QR code or entrant’s device.

Prizes

14. There are three (3) prizes available, one for each Event (each a Prize):

    1. Wyndham Diwali: one (1) Coles gift card valued at $1,000 (AUD);

    2. Hume Diwali: one (1) Coles gift card valued at $500 (AUD); and

    3. Northern Diwali: one (1) Coles gift card valued at $500 (AUD).

15. The total prize pool is valued at $2,000 (incl. GST). Each entrant can win a maximum of one (1) Prize.

16. Each Prize is subject to the terms and conditions of the gift card issuer, including any expiry date and use restrictions. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged gift cards once delivered.

17. Prizes are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Draws

18. Three (3) separate draws, one for each Event, will take place from 11:00am AEDT on Monday 9 November 2026 at Level 2, 191 Salmon Street, Port Melbourne, Victoria. The winner of each Prize will be selected by random selection from all valid entries received at that Event during the Promotional Period.

19. The first valid entry drawn in each draw will win the Prize for that Event. The Promoter’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

Winner notification and publication

20. Each winner will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw and asked to confirm their full name and Victorian residential postal address, and to provide any proof of identity or eligibility requested, by 5:00pm AEDT on Friday 27 November 2026.

21. The first initial, surname, suburb and Event of each winner will be published on the JG King Homes website at jgkinghomes.com.au from Friday 13 November 2026 for a period of at least 30 days.

22. Once a winner has confirmed their details, their Prize will be sent by registered mail to the Victorian residential address provided within twenty (20) business days. The winner may be required to sign for delivery. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure in delivery caused by a winner providing an incorrect address or failing to collect the item from Australia Post.

23. If a winner cannot be contacted, does not confirm their details by 5:00pm AEDT on Friday 27 November 2026, or is found to be ineligible, that Prize will be forfeited and an unclaimed prize redraw will take place at 11:00am AEDT on Wednesday 2 December 2026 at the same location as the original draws. The redraw will be made from the remaining valid entries received at the same Event. The winner of any redraw will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days, published on the JG King Homes website, and sent their Prize by registered mail in accordance with clause 22.

Prize delivery

24. Each Prize will be sent to the winner by registered mail to the Victorian residential address provided, within twenty (20) business days of the Prize being claimed. The winner may be required to sign for delivery.

25. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay or failure in delivery caused by a winner providing an incorrect address or failing to collect the item from Australia Post.

Privacy and consent to contact

26. The Promoter collects entrants’ personal information to conduct this promotion, including to verify eligibility, conduct the draws, contact the winners, publish the winners’ details and deliver the Prizes. If the information requested is not provided, the entrant cannot enter.

27. By entering, each entrant consents to JG King Homes and its related entities contacting them by email, phone and SMS for marketing purposes, including information about homes, house and land packages, display homes, events and promotions. Entrants can unsubscribe or opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, by replying STOP to any SMS, or by contacting the Promoter.

28. Personal information may be disclosed to the Promoter’s service providers (such as CRM, marketing and postal providers) for these purposes and may be stored in the Promoter’s CRM systems.

29. Personal information will be handled in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available at jgkinghomes.com.au/privacy-policy, which explains how entrants can access or correct their personal information or make a privacy complaint.

General

30. The Promoter reserves the right, at its absolute discretion, to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, provides false information, or acts in breach of these Terms and Conditions.

31. If for any reason this promotion cannot run as planned (including because of infection by computer virus, tampering, technical failures, cancellation of an Event or any other cause beyond the Promoter’s control), the Promoter may, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion, in whole or in respect of a particular Event.

32. If a Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize of equal or greater value, subject to any applicable laws.

33. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies any rights or remedies the entrant may have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. Subject to that, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) is not liable for any loss or damage, including indirect or consequential loss, arising in connection with this promotion or the Prizes, except to the extent caused by the Promoter’s negligence.

34. Winners may need to seek independent financial advice on any tax implications of receiving a Prize.

35. This promotion is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.

36. JG King Homes reserves the right to withdraw, extend or alter or this promotion at any time and without any prior communication.
